Burris is based out of Baton Rouge, LA. With roots spanning from Austin, TX to Voronezh Russia, the band creates a unique sound like... "a gumbo of music!" _ The Daily Reveille The nationally touring band has performed at Festival International de Louisiane, The Legendary Howlin' Wolf in New Orleans, and headlined the House of Blues "Voodoo Gardens Stage" at the 2015 French Quarter Fest. The band released its first EP "Listening" in 2014 and will release its first full length album "Meant to Be" in October 2015. All of the members of Burris are Louisiana State University School of Music alumni, which has greatly shaped their musicality throughout their professional careers. Collectively, the members of Burris have had music appear on movies such as Haunted High, a Sifi Original Film, and they have performed live with Rebirth Brass Band, Dumpstaphunk, GIVERS, George Porter Jr. and Grace Potter.
