Originally from Sacramento, California, Bill Goodge has called San Antonio, Texas home for over 30 years. A seasoned bassist with more than three decades of experience performing across California and Texas, Bill’s musical journey took a turn in 2012 when he picked up the acoustic guitar in pursuit of something deeper — a connection to music, spirituality, and personal expression.
He co-founded Eclipse, a distinctive acoustic rock act from San Antonio known for reimagining electric classics into stripped-down acoustic versions that weren’t meant to be unplugged — and making them work in powerful, unexpected ways. That same energy and creativity now fuel his solo performances, where Bill delivers an intimate, laid-back show filled with soul, storytelling, and a deep respect for the songs he covers.
