August 83 was born from the popular Houston cover/variety band called Spare Parts. Their album "Music From Bedrooms" has been described as "Pop for Grownups" Their songs are familiar and fresh, but never obvious. Recorded in Magnolia, Texas at Red Tree Recording Studios, engineered by Jeffery Armstreet and mixed and mastered by Mark Linger, Nashville, the album has sparkling production.
