Trained as a classical pianist, I soon abandoned the printed page and turned to jazz as a medium for self-expression.
As exposure to improvisational jazz developed, my opportunities as a jobbing musician grew apace. For more than 20 years I have performed with combos and 15-piece bands in major US cities.
In 2004, I co-founded along with other technical staff members our independent record label. Backtalk Unlimited. with studios located in San Diego. Our studio supplies post-production music for movie and video projects. In addition, we have produced 18 audio CD/ROM albums, which are featured on music radio broadcasts, in YouTube videos, and in advertising media. Our music CD albums are marketed through online music providers worldwide.
