Jesse Ray Smith is a soulful Americana singer-songwriter, capable of engaging a room as a solo act with his acoustic guitar and harmonicas, with his awesome 5pc band (JRS + drums, bass, keys, electric guitar) or any combination preferred. Jesse's 2023 album 'Back To Yesterday' was nominated for San Diego Music Awards 'Best Americana Album' and Jesse performs across the country and locally in clubs like The Belly Up Tavern in Solana Beach & Bob Weir's Sweetwater Music Hall in Mill Valley, CA. Original music is Jesse's passion, but his extensive cover catalog of classics and modern sing-alongs are called upon for roughly 75 private and corporate parties every year. His catalog ranges from Chis Stapleton to Bob Marley to The Eagles and The Lumineers and can keep a crowd going for hours. We threw an anniversary party last week for our boutique and while using gig town for the first time I was unsure of who to book with so many options! We found Jesse and knew right away he would be the perfect fit for our party. After his opening first song I had multiple party goers come up to me compliment how awesome he was and I knew I could relax because it was clear how much everyone was enjoying his music and sound. He played for 3 hours and was nothing but amazing for the entirety! His genre of songs was a great mix between upbeat and relaxed and even his own songs were some of my favorites! I would honestly highly recommend him to anymore! Thankyou Jesse !!
